We want to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Tendoryu Aikido with a seminar in Izu at the Kannon Onsen and have a party in Tokyo at the Happo-en garden.

In 2019 we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Tendoryu Aikido with a seminar in Izu, Kannon Onsen. Additionally we plan some festivity in Tokyo.

The Anniversary Seminar October 18. - 21. October 2019

We will announce the date of the celebration party in Tokyo as soon as it is decided. We would be pleased if you all could come to celebrate with us.

The brochure for the 40 year`s Tendoryu anniversary in Germany is now available for download. With many pictures and various stories contributed by long term students, compiled by Gaëlle Hemkemeier.

The summer seminars conducted by Shimizu Sensei and Wakasensei took place in Markt Erlbach (Germany) and on the Herzogenhorn (Germany).

Following graduations have been awarded.

The spring seminars 2018 conducted by Shimizu Sensei and Wakasensei took place this time in Rodgau, Bad Kreuznach, Rüsselsheim, Berlin, Moers and Novi Sad.

And following participants received graduations.

Konnichi wa,

I have waited so long for January 9th. It has been the start of my long Japanese adventure. Unfortunately I could not travel earlier, so I could participate in only half of the kangeiko week. It was worth it - without fail. Be it alone the experience to practice together with ninety other aikidoka in the Tendokan. And a first highlight was the kagamibiraki. A traditional Japanese Shinto ceremony.

Many of you already have paid their yearly twa membership fee for 2018. All others may be reminded to remit the membership fee latest until the end of January. And please don't forget to write your name and membership number. Thank you very much and have a fulfilling training year ahead of you.
