After a three-year break, a seminar finally took place again in Kannon Onsen, but with a few small changes. This time, the journey was self-organised and there was more time for bathing and conversation between the five training sessions. Techniques were assigned by lot to each room, which were then prepared by the group and presented in a small demonstration at the end, with Kensho-kun and Wakasensei as the highlight.
During the training sessions, Kancho Sensei shared his experiences from his time with O-Sensei and from the history of the Tendokan.
On the last evening, at the BBQ under the starry sky of Izu, one could once again admire the beautiful garden of the Kannon Onsen and share one's experiences with the others. The mood was relaxed and at the following morning training at 6:30 a.m., some eyes were certainly still half asleep.
More impressions of the seminar can be found on the Tendokan channels on Instagram and YouTube.
I am already looking forward to the next Tendo World seminar with many international visitors.
